Digital Citizenship

On the 6th of March 2017 year 5&6 students talked and learnt about Digital Citizenship. Digital Citizenship means you and others are being safe online. We then learnt about the five Ps, representing: Positive, Privacy, Protect, Permission and Profile. Positive means using a positive attitude on the internet by saying nice things about people's pictures, videos and posts. Permission means asking your parents and friends permission to post something online like a picture of your friend or family member. Privacy means not posting your house number or personal things/information on the internet. Protect means protecting yourself and your family by not answering any strange questions or saying any personal things like I'm going on holiday. And profile means to not put personal information on your profile like your phone number where you live your car number plate and mailbox number.

Then we learnt about our digital footprint. We watched a YouTube video about digital footprints. We also did a piece of artwork on our digital footprint. We drew around our foot on a piece of paper. Then we wrote our names inside our foot on the paper and then drew apps that they use at home and at school.
