Dear Whanau,
It was great meeting you at the 3 way conferences last week. We were all so proud of how confidently our tamariki led the conferences. Goals have now been finalised and uploaded to USpace. Please feel free to log on and interact with the work samples that the children have already uploaded.
Our team blog is now up and running and can be found here. Our student reporters have loved having a vehicle for their writing.
We have created two team email address, one for Team Red and one for Team Green. If you use these email addresses the message will be received by all three collaborative teachers. This will ensure smooth communication between home and school, especially if for some reason your child’s whanau teacher is away.
This term is flying by with many different things happening. We have a number of students currently being trained up for Peer Mediator and Physical Activity Leader roles. It is great to see opportunities taken.
We have some children competing in the Duathlon and will have others competing in the Cricket Carnival at the end of March.
Look out for information regarding the Bio Blitz that your children have brought home.
We are having a team hui every odd week, on a Friday morning. This starts just after 9am in our classroom spaces. If your child has achieved something awesome outside of school, please can you email us so we can celebrate their successes at these gatherings.
